Happy Independence Day!!!
 
For many of us, today is a day to reflect on our history of independence.  Our forefathers fought battles with oppressive countries so that we may enjoy the freedom and liberation to choose our destiny.  We also remember the battles we fought when differences split our own nation and our people.  I am grateful for these efforts, for they have allowed us to make choices and we are able to honor our own values and the choices and values of others.
 
I think about our own battles today.  Not in our current political situation, but in combating the fear, oppression and obligation in our very own hearts in our everyday lives.  This is the battle that must be won now.  Overcoming these limitations is the way to personal independence and freedom.  It is only from this place of inner peace that we can begin to realize a world at peace. 
 
As the new energies are settling in we are allowed to more readily shift and heal the energetic blocks within us that held us back from the freedom we value so dearly.  While this personal healing seems as challenging as the battlefields of our forefathers, it continues to be a battle well worth fighting for.  -For our future and the evolution of humanity-
 
I can't help but celebrate today, this Independence Day, our own personal victories and liberation in the "Love Revolution".  Congratulations to all of you and thank you for making our world a better place.
